May 16 2005 - True IM evaluates Asteco Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programme
Having invested in a CRM solution, Asteco wanted confirmation that its implementation was on track to deliver the anticipated optimised business benefits and return on investment (ROI)
True Integrated Marketing (True IM) was delighted to be selected by Asteco Property Management to carry out an independent assessment of its CRM capabilities following the implementation of TrackWeb by Metadata Technologies FZ LLC, the UAE’s main reseller for Soffront’s mid size CRM solution.
The solution was being used by the sales consultants primarily to manage the successful conversion of prospects to clients.
True IM has a proprietary CRM audit process developed over many years of international CRM experience. One of its main benefits is that it maps where the organisation is currently in terms of its CRM capability versus its future vision. The gaps are identified and prioritised in order to accelerate the business benefits of implementing the CRM solution and its ROI.
The programme involved working closely and in complete co-operation with the Asteco team from the administrators up to the senior management. Both workshops and one-on- one sessions were used to validate internal CRM understanding and its impact on business/ customer processes. Asteco wanted confirmation that they were not just working more efficiently but that business performance was being enhanced by improved effectiveness. The ability to track a prospect from first enquiry to final outcome and record communication interactions was a key priority.
The final report confirmed that Asteco were on the way to adopting a customer centric culture, supported by the CRM software and highlighted several key areas for attention that would improve business performance and ROI.
Jerry Oates, Commercial Director of Asteco commented “We spend heavily on advertising so it is important for us to capitalise on the enquiries we receive. We knew that the CRM software was helping, but we wanted to know by how much. The CRM solution was also meant to make everyone’s life easier by cutting down on manual processes and reports, but again we wanted an independent opinion as to whether this was the case. Following the delivery of the final report by True we had the answers to these questions and were able to see clearly the road ahead and the prioritised activities we needed to undertake in the future.”
Michael Walters, Managing Director of True Integrated Marketing – a CRM practitioner with over 15 years international experience said “because the assessment programme is based our work in many different companies in various business sectors, we know that it delivers what companies who have embarked on implementing CRM, or who are considering starting on the road to CRM, need to make the project a success. Asteco had done many of the right things but we were able to show some areas that required attention and these should provide real bottom line gains, as well as improving everyday working practices. The whole project was able to be completed in approximately 4 weeks elapsed time. True believes that CRM benefits should be delivered in 1-3 months tranches rather than 12-24 months plus, which is typically the case.
What sets True Integrated Marketing apart is the “real world” experience of its senior team and its chosen services partners. They genuinely have “walked the walk!”
